The Technical Work Plans are an essential part of the Environmental Assessment process. They provide a guide for the technical studies carried out by experts in their field. 

 

Updated Draft Technical Work Plans (Jan-Apr 2017)

Public Event: Walker held a public event on the Finalization of the Technical Work Plans on April 19, 2017 from 11am - 2pm and 5pm - 8pm at the Colombo Club in Beachville. For more information and event materials, go to our Public Events page

 

Walker is currently in the process of receiving Updated Draft Technical Workplans from our technical consultants. They will be posted on this website as we receive them. 

Any interested individual or organization may submit comments on the Updated Draft Technical Work Plans.The Updated Drafts will also be reviewed by the Government Review Team (Ontario government), the Joint Municipal Coordinating Committee Peer Review Team and First Nations.

 

MEMORANDUM: The Facility Characteristics Assumptions (FCA) document has been updated (revision 2). Since the Technical Work Plans drawn information from the FCA, a memorandum has been prepared as information for anyone reviewing the Updated Technical Work Plans. 

 

Agriculture

The Agriculture Work Plan has been updated from the original draft. The primary changes are focused on detailing how the study will assess the potential impacts to agricultural land-use,   farming operations, and other support services and suppliers.

Land Use Planning Forecast

Draft Technical Work Plans were not developed for the Land Use Planning Forecast as part of the Terms of Reference. The Forecast will be prepared before the Technical Studies begin. The Forecast will be used as a Baseline or common starting point for all technical studies. It will provide a common understanding of existing and potential land uses in the study area.
